Amazing Maasai Girls Project
The Amazing Maasai Girls Project (AMGP) was founded in 2011 by a small team of volunteers who believe in the importance of keeping
adolescent girls in school and out of childhood marriage.
We work to provide high-school scholarships to academically-gifted girls from Maasai villages in Laikipia, Kenya, whose families would otherwise have no means to afford the school fees.
Since 2011 the AMGP has raised more than $100,000 and currently sponsors 38 Amazing Girls through all 4 years of their high-school education.

Since 2011 The Amazing Maasai Marathon has served as the primary fundraising event for The Amazing Maasai Girls Project.
The annual marathon & half-marathon races draw runners from more than 8 countries, as well as locally in Kenya. Participants run in the foothills of Mt. Kenya and through the villages where our the Amazing Maasai Girl Project's sponsored girls attend school.
The Amazing Maasai Marathon will next take place on August 30, 2014.
